Blood of Olympus is a story about a crew of seven demigods (Percy, Annabeth, Leo, Frank, Jason, Hazel and Piper) fighting for their lives against Gaia, the evil mistress of the land. Gaia`s giants are bloodthirsty and are back to wreak havoc on Olympus. However, the demigods are outnumbered and are no match for Gaia`s massive army of monsters. Therefore, the gods` Roman and Greek children must combine forces in order to win this battle. But due to internal conflict and suspicion, they are unwilling to work together. Halfway through the quest, they find out that one of their members is fated to die. Desperate to find a cure, they look for Asclepius, Son of Apollo, God of healing. Asclepius gives them the Physician’s cure, and predicts long lives for them, but will he be able to save them all?
